Fatigue goes in, game plan goes out

Since tuesday training got cancelled (but why would the council clear our pitch from snow? That's an outrageous demand!) a surprisingly large number of players agreed to show up at the late training time on thursday instead. Those of you who weren't there - you missed out on something very special.
-
Training consisted mostly of passing the ball in every possible way, and thinking ahead while doing it! Now come on, how hard is that? (Very.) This is the remedy to the famous white line fever and all other brain freezes during games, where you don't see your options because your mind is too slow. Brain needs practise too! We also played a bit of touch and noticed how, when fatigue goes in, game plan goes out.
-
Now to the special bit. Not only (NOT ONLY!) was this great session led by someone who (do I dare say it?) not uttered one swear word, but it was also accompanied by positive remarks, smiles and laughter (not just us girls!). AND it was followed up by an email telling us how great we are!

Scotsmen sure know how to surprise you...
